A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching Jammu and Kashmir. With this, Cyclonic Circulation is moving over Punjab and its adjacent areas. A trough from this system is spreading up to East Bihar too. Analyzing all these weather patterns, rain and thundershower can be expected in some areas of West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi on 16th January. Hilly areas of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh might expect rainfall and snowfall activities. Hailstorm activities are also possible over Northwest Uttar Pradesh.

Another trough is also extending from North Rajasthan to Gujarat. As a consequence, there are chances of rains over  Northwest Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Other states in Central India like Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and West Rajasthan will remain dry. A major temperature drop is expected over West Rajasthan and Gujarat.  While Northeast India might be dry in some areas, isolated light rains may occur over the eastern parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. West Bengal will also remain dry.

East Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar are also expected to have rain while Jharkhand and Orissa might be dry. While talking about South India, the humid winds from the Bay of Bengal will bring the humidity in some areas of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. Kerala and Karnataka will be away from rainfall and the weather is likely to remain dry over there. Lakshadweep better be prepared for light isolated rains.
