Wow! Butterfly garden at balcony

The colorful flitting beauties have always attracted the attention not only of children but of everyone irrespective of age and profession. The interest in learning about butterflies and studying them has been on the rise for the past few years.

The concept of butterfly gardens has also gained popularity during these years. Spending time in a butterfly garden can be pleasing, knowledgeable and soothing all at once. 

Spend a Sunday (January 14) learning to develop a butterfly garden as BNHS organizes Butterfly Gardening Workshop at BNHS Conservation Centre at Film City, Gen AK Vaidya Marg, Goregaon (east). A butterfly garden could be developed even in small places like a balcony by anyone and everyone who is interested

Besides the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and the Karnala Bird Sanctuary, several varieties of butterflies are also seen from spring to summer in Navi Mumbai at places like the Kharghar Hill, Belapur, Nerul civic gardens among others, said a local environmentalist. He added that the Airoli burns hospital has also started the special Butterfly Garden at Airoli last year in January.
