CBSE Admit Card 2019 Released: Check How to Download Hall Ticket

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the much-awaited admit cards or roll numbers for class 10th and 12th board exams 2019. Through a notice it has asked all the schools and institutions to download the admit cards for both - class 10 as well as class 12 from its official website – www.cbse.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the much-awaited admit cards or roll numbers for class 10th and 12th board exams 2019. Through a notice it has asked all the schools and institutions to download the admit cards for both - class 10 as well as class 12 from its official website – www.cbse.nic.in

Schools can easily download the admit cards by logging-in with their registered ids. The students are advised to contact their respective schools to get their admit cards or hall tickets as early as possible.

It must be noted that the CBSE will begin the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from 15th February 2019 onwards.

Schools that have been fixed as examination centers for the upcoming board exams can also download the center materials relating to candidates appearing from their center. On the other hand, private students can also get their individual admit cards or roll numbers from the board’s official website. They just need to enter the required details and download the hall ticket.

The reporting time for both class 10th and class 12th board exams is 9:30 am as the paper starts at sharp 10 am. No student will be allowed to enter the exam center after 10 am and without a valid admit card, according to the CBSE notification.

Things that you must check in the admit card or hall ticket

  1. Roll number

  2. Candidate name

  3. Mother and father’s name/guardian’s name

  4. Name of the exam center

  5. Date of birth

  6. Name of exam

  7. Admit card ID

  8. Subjects

Students must carefully check whether all the above-mentioned things are clearly given in the admit card.  If anything is missing or wrongly mentioned then they must contact the board at the earliest.

Steps to download the CBSE admit cards

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE – www.cbse.nic.in

Step 2: At the home page, you will have to click on the link ‘download admit card’.

Step 3: A new page will open in the screen, now you will have to log-in using the registration number and other details.

Step 4: Your admit card will appear. Just click on the download link.

Students must go through their hall tickets or admit cards carefully.

Other important points to remember

  1. Candidates need to report at the exam hall in their respective school uniforms.

  2. They must carry all the important things including pen, pencil, eraser, scale etc.

  3. They should not carry digital watches, calculators, pagers and mobile phones.

  4. It is better to visit the exam center one day before the commencement of exams so that you do not waste time on the actual exam day.

  5. Water bottles or lunch boxes should be avoided.

  6. The exam will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1:30 pm.

  7. Students will get the answer books at 10 am.

  8. The question papers will be distributed at 10:15 am.
