IB Recruitment 2019: Check Eligibility Criteria, Pay Scale, Other Details for ACIO, ASO & Other Posts

Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released an official notification inviting candidates/officials to fill up Assistant Security Officer (Gen), Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-l (ACIO) and various other positions on deputation/absorption basis.

Interested applicants can apply for the all posts within 60 days from the date of issuance of the notice. A total of 318 posts will be filled up through this recruitment drive.

11. Junior Intelligence Officer-ll/Tech: 167 posts

12. Research Assistant: 2 posts

13. Accountant: 26 posts

14. Nursing Orderly: 2 posts

15. Female Staff Nurse: 1 post

16. Caretaker: 4 posts

17. Halwai Cum Cook: 11 posts

Essential Education Qualification

1. Deputy Director/Tech: Applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE / BTech / B.Sc (Engg.) from a recognised university or institute.

2. Senior Accounts Officer: The candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

3. Junior Intelligence Officer-ll/Tech: Applicants should have passed Class XII with Maths and Physics with 2 years IT Course from a recognized Institution in Radio Technician, Electronics, and Electronics & Communication.

4. Senior Research Officer: The applicant must possess a master's degree in Economics or Statistics or Business Administration/ or Management or Commerce.

5. Security Officer (Tech): Should hold a degree in Electrical or Electronics or Communications Engineering or MSc in Physics /Chemistry.

IB Salary & Pay Scale:

1. Deputy Central Intelligence Officer/Tech-Telephone (1 post) - Group A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial - Pay Band- 3 Rs. 15600-39100/ + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- (Level 10 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 56100-177500/- as per 7th CPC).

2. Assistant Security Officer (Tech) (12 posts), Gen Central Service (Group-B) Non Gazetted, Non-Ministerial - Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 +G.P. Rs. 4600/- (Level 7 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400/- as per 7th CPC).

3. Central Intelligence Officer/Technical (7 posts), General Central Service, Group A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial (Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100/ with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- (Level 10 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 56100-177500/- as per 7^th CPC).

4. Senior Accounts Officer (2 posts), Group A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in Pay Band-3, Rs 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- (Level 11 of Pay Matrix Rs. 67700-208700/- as per 7 CPC).

5. Research Officer (2 posts), General Central Service (Group-A), Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- (Level-11 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 67700-208700/- as per 7 CPC).

6. Research Assistant: (2 posts), General Central Service (Group-B), Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in Pay Band-2; Rs. 9300-34800/ + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- (Level 6 of Pay Matrix Rs. 35400-112400/- as per 7th CPC).

How to apply

Candidates/officers who fulfil the above-mentioned criterion of eligibility must submit their applications in a bio-data format to their employers, who will further forward the same along with relevant papers or documents to the Joint Deputy Director/G. Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, 35 S.P. Marg, Bapu Dham, New Delhi-110021.

The numbers of positions advertised are provisional and can change. Further, the official selected on deputation to IB will be entitled to a Special Security Allowance (20 per cent of Basic Pay) with other pay and allowances as permissible.
