India Women’s National Cricket Team Lifts The Seventh Asia Cup Title

India Women’s National Cricket Team lifted the seventh Asia Cup title by defeating Sri Lanka by 8 wickets to win the 2022 Women’s Asia Cup final at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh on Saturday.

Congratulatory remarks from all over the country flooded in as the team chased a target of 66 runs, cruising to 71 for two in 8.3 overs in a thrilling performance while opener Smriti Mandhana hit 51 runs off of 25 balls.

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar tweeted and congratulated the team on twitter by saying

“We clinch the Asia Cup once again!

Many congratulations to our women's team for winning the Asia Cup for a record 7th time!”
