UP Board Timetable 2019 Update: Check Here for Complete Details

Around 58,06,922 students will be appearing for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in Uttar Pradesh this year. The Deputy Chief Minister, Dinesh Sharma said 8,354 schools have been selected as examination centers and necessary preparations have been made. With the aim of making the examinations copying-free, the deputy CM said CCTV cameras, as well as voice recorders, will be installed at all the exam centers.

Around 58,06,922 students will be appearing for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in Uttar Pradesh this year. The Deputy Chief Minister, Dinesh Sharma said 8,354 schools have been selected as examination centers and necessary preparations have been made. With the aim of making the examinations copying-free, the deputy CM said CCTV cameras, as well as voice recorders, will be installed at all the exam centers.

As per the recently released Uttar Pradesh Board timetable, the exams for Class 10 (High School), as well as class 12 (Intermediate), will start from 7th February 2019. The UP Board exam schedule is available on the official website – www.upmsp.edu.in.

Sharma said, "As many as 1,314 exam centres have been classified as sensitive, while 448 others have been categorised as hyper-sensitive”.

Prior to the UP Board examinations, Sharma told the students not to be afraid of the exams.

In a message to students, he said "The class 10th board examination is the first milestone in a student's life, while the class 12th board examination is the second one. Both these examinations decide their future hence they are very important."

Due to strict steps taken by the state government, around 10 lakh students had dropped out of board exams in the year 2018. And over 36 lakh students appeared for the class 10 board exams while 29 lakh students gave class 12 board exams.

Last year the pass percentage in class 12th board exams was 72.43 percent and for class 10th exams it was 75.16 percent.
