Escort's two new players in international market

Escorts has played a pivotal role in the agricultural growth of India for over six decades. Farm equipment maker Escorts unveiled a range of tractors, including an electric concept, for both export and domestic markets.

Escorts has played a pivotal role in the agricultural growth of India for over six decades. Having pioneered farm mechanization in the country, Escorts have been developing solutions to enhance agricultural productivity and improve the quality of life in rural India. Farm equipment maker Escorts unveiled a range of tractors, including an electric concept, for both export and domestic markets.

The company has launched tractors ranging between 22 HP to 90 HP under Farmtrac and Powertrac brands that are compliant with emission norms of various markets including Europe and the US. The company quotes Farmtrac as “Farmtrac is a tractor that will always remain ahead of time. It is equipped with modern engineering and machines with extreme power and traction, which can pull bigger traction with greater efficiency. This premium range of tractors is available in the range of 37 HP to 75 HP. It is a high performance, versatile rugged machine with maximum comfort for the driver. It is the best tractor in India for farming. Framtrac series of tractors is definitely machines that have the style with substance.”

The new range would cater to customers in various markets including the US, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and ASEAN countries apart from new generation farmers in India. Escorts is on a transformational journey of developing products for global markets and offering products of quality with specifications that would be competitive and attractive to buyers," Escorts Ltd Chairman Rajan Nanda said in a statement.

The company is spreading its operations to reach countries across the globe. Escorts Managing Director Nikhil Nanda said the new products would create a new user experience in comfort and precision farming globally.
