IIL Launches ‘Kunoichi’ a Patented Miticide from Nissan Chemical Corporation
In order to address the need for an effective and long duration control of different types of mites in various crops, leading agrochemical company Insecticides (India) Limited (IIL) today launched ‘Kunoichi’, a miticide that is effective at all stages of the mite.

Kunoichi is invented and developed by Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan and comprises a novel molecule, Cyenopyrafen 30% SC. IIL is the partner of Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan in India for marketing of its products. This product has been already registered the product in other parts of the globe such as Japan, South Korea, Colombia, and Ecuador.

Mite attacks on crops are on rise in India due to widespread use of synthetic parathyroid pesticides, which negatively affect the predatory mite fauna. The miticide is effective on two-spotted red spider mite in apples, and complexity of different type of mites in chilies by inhibiting electron transport in mitochondrial complex II and prevents utilization of energy by the cells. Dosage of 80-120 ml dissolved in 150 to 200 litres of water that can cover one acre of area. Kunoichi is an advanced miticide that provides long-duration control on the mites and does not resist with any other miticide – the product can be used in conjunction with other miticides and insecticides as well.
