Matsuri: Remedy for Rice Sheath Blight

Bharat Insecticides Ltd launched Matsuri, an innovative fungicide for Sheath Blight in Rice. The launch event took place in Hotel Crowne Plaza, New Delhi on 9th June 2017 in presence of Mr Yuji Sato, Director- International Business, Mr Y Masuzawa, Manager-Asia, Dr RK Yadav, Country Head from Nissan Chemicals, Japan, Mr RP Gupta, Director, Mr MP Gupta,Director and Mr Dharmesh Gupta, Director, Bharat Insecticides Ltd.The launch event was attended by more than 140 key distributors from Haryana, West UP and Uttarakhand.

Bharat Insecticides Ltd launched Matsuri, an innovative fungicide for Sheath Blight in Rice. The launch event took place in Hotel Crowne Plaza, New Delhi on 9th June 2017 in presence of Mr Yuji Sato, Director- International Business, Mr Y Masuzawa, Manager-Asia, Dr RK Yadav, Country Head from Nissan Chemicals, Japan, Mr RP Gupta, Director, Mr MP Gupta,Director and Mr Dharmesh Gupta, Director, Bharat Insecticides Ltd.The launch event was attended by more than 140 key distributors from Haryana, West UP and Uttarakhand.

Mr Yuji Satofrom Nissan Chemicals mentioned that “Matsuri is a great innovation and is providing effective solution for Sheath blight in Rice to farmers across the globe. We are happy to be part of Matsuri launch in India along with Bharat Insecticide Ltd. We look forward to explore further opportunities with Bharat Insecticides Ltd”.

On the occasion Mr MP Gupta mentioned that “farmers work very hard to grow crops and we believe in providing him quality solutions.” Mr RP Gupta commented about the long association of Bharat group with Nissan Chemicals and hoped that it will further strengthen in future. Mr. Dharmesh Gupta mentioned that Bharat Group has grown significantly and consistently growing during last one decade. In 2016-17, Bharat Group achieved turnover of 1350 Crore.  Bharat Group manufactures 18 technical grade pesticides and has very high focus on quality. This is in line with Honourable Prime Minister’s effort to promote ‘Make in India’. 

During the event, BIL also launched Biltora, an insecticide for Lepidoptera pest in various field crops and vegetables. Biltora provides excellent, long duration control of pests like Spodoptera, Heliothis, Leaf folder, Semi looper, Maruca and DBM due to its dual action.

Another product Deed, an Insecticide for sucking pests was also launched during the event. Deed has triple action – Systemic, Contact and Stomach – which helps it to effectively control sucking pests.

The company introduced these products to provide farmers with quality solutions. This year BIL is also celebrating its 40th anniversary. It also unveiled its’40 Years of Farmers’ Trust’ logo during the event.
