TAFE Launches Massey Ferguson 244- Puddling Special Tractors for Andhra Farmers

TAFE Ltd. has launched Massey Ferguson 244 DI-Puddling Special Tractors in the 44 hp range for the cultivation of paddy.

This tractor comes in 2 variants viz. MF 244 PD for deep-mud puddling and MF 244 DI PM which is suitable for dry land or shallow puddling. Both variants of tractors have been exclusively in Andhra Pradesh, said the company in a statement.

Currently, it is  launched for the Andhra Pradesh markets, the MF 244 is a customer-centric  that offers more power with greater value, while promising high versatility, excellent performance, big savings and better productivity.

The MF 244 tractors are well suited for a variety of other applications such as the reversible mouldboard plough, baler, thresher & for heavy-duty haulage too. This product is powered by all new 44 HP Simpson super torque engine, dependable and durable max oil immersed brakes, exclusive powervator clutch and ultra planetary plus technology, among others.

The new engine in the MF 244 offers more torque, more power, higher fuel efficiency and an annual savings of up to Rs. 60,000 on fuel cost. Globally renowned Massey Intellisense hydraulics ensure the minimum load on the tractor, uniform tillage and reduced wheel slippage for effortless puddling and longer life of the tractor.

With the launch of the Puddling Special MF 244, TAFE demonstrates the capability of Indian engineering and its commitment to the farmers of Andhra Pradesh, the release added.
