50.58 Lakh Farmers Get Rs.1036 crore under YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan Scheme

For the third consecutive year,  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy released the third tranche of the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme by crediting Rs.1,036 crore into the bank accounts of 50.58 lakh farmers from his camp workplace on Monday. 

The government has been crediting the amount in three installments to meet the farmers' requirements. As a result, Rs.7500 is deposited in May for the Kharif crop, Rs.4000 is deposited in October for the Rabi crop, and Rs.2000 is deposited throughout Sankranti. The whole involves Rs.13500 each year. 

Despite the fact that farmers were promised Rs.12500 per year in the last elections, YSRC officials increased the amount by Rs.1000. 

Minister for agriculture Kurasala Kannababu and different prime officers have been current on the occasion. 

According to reports, the YSR Rythu Bharosa - PM Kisan Samman scheme provides eligible farmers with investment assistance of Rs.13500 per acre in three annual installments. During the current fiscal year 2021–22, Rs.5863.67 crore was distributed in two tranches to 50.37 lakh farmer families. 

The state government contributed Rs.3848.33 crore under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme, while the central government contributed Rs.2015.34 crore through the PM Kisan Samman scheme. 

Of the total beneficiaries, 48,86,361 are landowners and 68,737 are tenants, with 82,251 farmers farming Recognized Forest Rights (ROFR) lands among them. The state government has paid Rs.7500 per hectare to landowners under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme, with the Center contributing Rs.4000. 

The state government fully credited the accounts of the 1,50,988 eligible tenants in the first two tranches under the Rythu Bharosa scheme with Rs.11500 in two tranches. 

In the third tranche, 48,86,361 landowners would have to pay Rs.977.27 crore under the PM Kisan Samman scheme at the rate of Rs.2000, while 1,50,988 previously qualifying ROFRs will get Rs.30.20 crore under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme at the rate of Rs.2000 paid by the state government.

Today, the state government is depositing Rs.28.53 crore in one installment of Rs.13500 to 21,140 tenants who have secured Crop Cultivator Rights Cards (CCRC) under the YSR Rythu Bharosa. The three tranches would offer a total of Rs.6899.67 crore to 50,58,489 people in 2021–22 in investment assistance.
