Farmers challenging the Center's farm laws have called for “Bharat Bandh” or nation-wide strike today (8 December 2020)after several rounds of talks with the Govt. authority over the new agriculture bills stayed uncertain.

- Azadpur Mandi partly opened in the midst of farmers’ call for 'Bharat Bandh'. In the wake of 'Bharat Bandh' called by upsetting farmers today, the Azadpur mandi, one of Asia's greatest vegetable business markets, remained somewhat open with not many shops open. In any case, the masses are not like a typical day considering the cross country strike. The Azadpur Mandi Association had declared to help the farmers fomentation. 

- Maharashtra’s Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana arranged 'Bharat Bandh Rail Roko' dissent and quickly halted a train today in Malkapur of Buldhana dist. They were later evacuated from the tracks by the Police and confined.
