Congress Blamed for Non Procurement of Gunny Bags in Punjab

Minister for Union Food Processing Industry, Harsimrat Kaur Badal has put up her question at Congress government for non availability of gunny bags, the reason why Grain markets in Punjab are choking. She proclaimed that as the Congress government failed to procure gunny bags which have resulted in grain markets choking with grains. It is causing great miseries to farmers as wheat procurement has suffered due to the glut. 

She has blamed that "Chief Minister Amrinder Singh is responsible for the hardships being faced by farming community. The government should tell farmers why it failed to procure gunny bags in advance. It is condemnable that the government is still not paying attention to the problem. 

She has reported that instead of his visit to political function Chief Minister did not visited grain market to check the problem even when farmers were suffering immensely. The demand of gunny bags need to fulfilled on urgent basis is what she stated in her statement .
