Farmers' financial situation will improve if they receive a guaranteed minimum support price for their produce, if trading becomes digital or online, and the middle person who exchanges products from farmers to factories or from manufacturers to farmers is eliminated.

Agriculture employs about 60% of the workforce but contributes 17% of GDP. Every day, there are reports of Indian farmers committing suicide in various parts of the country.

Machines should only be used by large farmers to achieve efficiency at local production costs. Every farmer nowadays wishes for his children to leave agriculture because they are aware of its difficulties.

The agricultural sector needs to be regularized and updated, and farmers need to be educated on alternative options in order to make the best use of limited resources. The emphasis should be on improving land and irrigation efficiency, as well as improved water management practices such as drip irrigation and rainwater harvesting.
They should be urged to cultivate higher-value products, particularly in areas with high rainfall, crop diversification is an important factor to consider and the farmers' social wellbeing is another important factor to consider. Farmers should be urged to practice organic farming and refrain from using DDT, pesticides, and insecticides.
