Farmers to Get More Loan From NABARD To Boost Entrepreneurship In Agriculture Sector

All efforts are being made to promote farmer entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, in order to double the income of our farmers in the country. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has made a significant choice in this episode.

All efforts are being made to promote farmer entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, in order to double the income of farmers by 2022. 

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has made a significant announcement in this episode. Priority will be given to increase farmer entrepreneurship in the agriculture sector. 

In fact, the National Rural and Agriculture Development Bank (NABARD) has anticipated that farmers in Madhya Pradesh will get 1 lakh 18 thousand 288 crore rupees for crop loans. In addition, it is expected to provide a total of 62,693 crore rupees in agricultural term loans. Simultaneously, a total loan of 2 lakh 42 thousand 967 crore is projected for the fiscal year 2022-23. Approximately 74% of this will be allocated to the agriculture. 

Let us tell you that under MSME 39 thousand 267 crore and other priority sector export credit, education, housing, renewable energy, other and social infrastructure loan of 22 thousand 715 crore will be available. 

The Government of India has boosted the IIDF and Micro Irrigation Fund by Rs.10000 crore and Rs.5000 crore, respectively, for the development of rural infrastructure, according to Finance Minister Jagdish Deora. In this approach, Madhya Pradesh is supporting the irrigation sector. 

He further said that women's empowerment and the promotion of women's self-help groups (SHGs) are primary concerns for the state government. Not only that, he expressed gratitude for NABARD's assistance in agricultural growth and expressed optimism that NABARD's assistance will continue to come true in accomplishing the Prime Minister's and Chief Minister's ambitions. 

Agriculture sector plays an important role in making Madhya Pradesh self-reliant 

Finance Minister Jagdish Deora said that the main goal of the state government is to make Madhya Pradesh self-reliant by the year 2023.

For this, emphasis is being laid on the need to increase KCC coverage to 100% farmers of the state, invest in rural infrastructure and make efforts on financing of agricultural producer groups.
