Crop irrigation plays a prominent role in agriculture. Farmers can save water by using advanced technology in crop irrigation. It has double benefits - the advanced machines not only reduce the cost of agriculture but farmers can also get a good income. In the meantime, agricultural experts have informed farmers of Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh about advanced farming including the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.

Avail Subsidy under PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana:

According to Agricultural experts, the crop can be irrigated better in less water. For this, farmers can adopt sprinkler method. It is to be noted that farmers will also get subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Agricultural Irrigation Scheme or PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana for purchasing sprinkler pipes.

Under PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana, 80% subsidy is provided to general farmers, while small and micro farmers are given subsidy up to 90%.

How farmers can get subsidy under PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana?

It is to be noted that, the principle of first come first serve is implemented in this scheme. Interestingly, farmers can apply online for this. After purchasing the sprinkler pipe from the registered firm, the farmers need to submit the application along with the bill to the office. Once, the application is approved, farmers are provided 80 - 90 percent subsidy on the cost.

With the help of sprinkler method irrigation, you can irrigate the fields well without levelling the land. This system is considered to be very effective for irrigation on slopes and high-low places. Garlic, ginger, cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes, peas, onions, broccoli, strawberries, peanuts, mustard, leafy, vegetables, lentils, tea and nursery can be irrigated by this method.
