Krishi Jagran’s New Office inaugurated by Vinod Kumar Gaur, MD & Chairman, National Seeds Corporation

On 2^nd July, 2021 Krishi Jagran inaugurated new office for its content team in the presence of Chief Guest Vinod Kumar Gaur, MD & Chairman of National Seeds Corporation, M.C Dominic, Editor in Chief, Krishi Jagran & Agriculture World and Shiny Dominic, Director, Krishi Jagran.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was done by chief guest Vinod Kumar Gaur followed by lighting the lamp.

The main event started with MC Dominic sharing his vision and wisdom with everyone. In his speech, he recalled, how Krishi Jagran was the first ever Agri media house when it was started, 24 years back. It is only because of his leadership and planning that Krishi Jagran has reached new heights. Shiny Dominic, who is a pillar of support for Krishi Jagran was very delighted at the occasion.

After this, the Chief Guest, Vinod Kumar Gaur, who has a vast experience in Fertilizer and Seed industry & is known for innovative ideas in fertilizer marketing and team leadership, conveyed his speech and was quite impressed by the women power at Krishi Jagran and told how a few decades back just few women were interested in agriculture and farming. Krishi Jagran believes in women empowerment and gender equality.

The event was also addressed by Ved Prakash, COO of B-able foundation, who has more than 30 years of experience in Media & Development; Chander Mohan, Sr. VP Special Initiatives and Sr. Executive Editor at Krishi Jagran, who has been with Krishi Jagran since the beginning and has vast experience in government sector and Vipin Saini, Associate Editor, Krishi Jagran and head of crop division with more than 30 years of experience in the field. He is the bold voice of BSAI, Krishi Jagran.

The award ceremony

Krishi Jagran also felicitated hard working members of their family. The various award categories included:

• The Covid warriors: This award was to honor the employees for their painstaking efforts that helped the organization during pandemic. Krishi Jagran honored around 25 people with this award.

• New initiative Awards for the people who bring and execute new ideas.

• Performers of the month to the top performers of various departments such as marketing accounts and production

• Best performers for the quarter - April to June 2021

• Consistent performers – The ones who have been performing consistently since a long time.

• There were also awards for the Efficient Performers and all the team leaders were honored from different departments like production, HR, Marketing, Circulation and Content.

• There were some special awards like one for the FB Engagement champion for generating exceptional amount of traffic at one of the FB page of Krishi Jagran.

The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by head of Operations, Sanjay Kumar.
