PM Kisan Beneficiaries Alert! eKYC is Mandatory for 11th Installment; Check Online & Offline Process
It must be noted that the Aadhaar-based OTP authentication that was temporarily suspended has been started again at the official PM Kisan portal. Hence farmers can complete eKYC easily at the website.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: The Government can release the 11th installment of PM Kisan Yojana anytime hence all eligible farmers should be ready with the necessary documents including eKYC to avail the benefit of the scheme.
In 2021, the government released the installment on 14 May, hence, it is expected that this year too, it will release the funds around the same period. However, the farmers must note if they do not complete e-KYC, they will not get the next installment of Rs. 2000.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a central government scheme with 100 percent funding from the Centre. Under the scheme, farmers are given Rs 6000 every year. The funds are directly transferred to farmers’ account in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each.
It must be noted that the update in eKYC is done through an Aadhaar-based OTP authentication system. The Aadhaar-based OTP authentication that was temporarily suspended has been started again at the official PM Kisan portal.

eKYC is compulsory for all PM Kisan registered farmers as the OTP-based eKYC is available on official website.

Farmers can also contact the nearest CSC centers for Biometric authentication-based eKYC.

How to complete eKYC Online & Offline

The farmers can complete Aadhar-based eKYC by visiting the official website of PM Kisan or their nearby CSC or Common Service Center. At the CSC Centre, you just have to provide the documents to the official and he will do the necessary work. While in official website, you have to fill in the details that are important to complete PM KISAN eKYC.

Govt Identifies 30000 ineligible beneficiaries in Kerala
Over 30,416 people in the southern state of Kerala, including 21,018 income-tax payers received assistance from the central government under PM Kisan Yojana despite being ineligible for the scheme.
As per details, Rs 31 crore has to be recovered from the ineligible people who were identified by central as well as state government agencies after combing the income-tax database. Till now, only Rs 4.90 crore has been recovered.
37.2 lakh farmers have registered for PM-Kisan scheme in Kerala. During the past 3 years, Rs 5,600 crore have been transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
