PM Kisan Latest Update: Payment of More Than 2 crore Farmers Stopped

As many as 12 crore farmers are taking benefit of the Government’s most popular scheme – Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: The Modi government had disbursed the 9th installment of PM Kisan in the accounts of more than 10 crore on 9th August 2021. Meanwhile, the data given on PM Kisan website till 31 August shows that the installment of more than 2 crore farmers is still pending. Know why the payment of 2 crore farmers has been stopped.

Why Government has stopped Payment?

It is important to mention that some fake farmers were taking advantage of PM Kisan scheme in many states and when the government came to know about the fraud it started collecting money from such beneficiaries.

Sources said that farmers paying income tax in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh were taking benefit of PM Kisan Yojana. Now the government has recovered all the money from them.

Sources also said that due to the fear of recovery, farmers who did fake registrations in the states have withdrawn their names. At the same time names of many farmers have been removed from the official website due to wrong data/information. Recently, the Agriculture Minister himself had told the Lok Sabha more than 42 lakh ineligible farmers across the country are taking benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

How to fill PM Kisan application form

The farmer must make sure that all the details provided by him or her is correct and without any mistake;

• The name in the application form must be written in English (correct spelling).

• Correct IFSC code, bank account number, Aadhar number and mobile number.

• Village name and land details must be correctly entered

Note - If you correctly fill in all the above-mentioned details then your payment will never stop.

How to Update/Correct Aadhar Details

• Go to the official government website of PM-Kisan Scheme

• Then search for Farmer Corner on the homepage

• Click on ‘Edit Aadhaar Details’ option.

• Correct the details.

• Finally submit it.
