PM Kisan Status Update: 7th Installment Coming this Week; Check If You will Get Rs. 2000 or not

Farmers waiting for the seventh installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana would get it on 25th December. Hence before government releases the installment farmers must check their status on the official website to confirm if they will get the money or not.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi last week announced that farmers waiting for the seventh installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana would get it on Friday, 25th December.

Addressing the farmers of Madhya Pradesh through video conferencing, PM Modi said that he would discuss all the issues related to Annadatta’s on 25th December, which is the Birth Anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee adding that the next installment of PM Kisan Scheme will be disbursed on the very same day.

Yogi Adityanath, UP Chief Minister said that over 9 crore farmers in India will get Rs 18,000 crore under PM Kisan on 25th December. Of the total, 2.30 lakh farmers of Uttar Pradesh will also be benefited.

Before the government releases the next installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it is important for the farmers to check their status online. This would help them know if they will get the money or not.

  • Go to the official website of PM Kisan – https://pmkisan.gov.in/

  • Look for Farmers Corner Section at the right hand side of the homepage

  • Here you will find ‘beneficiary status’ link, click it

  • Fill in the required details in it carefully

  • Finally click on get data

Objective of PM Kisan scheme

PM-Kisan yojana was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019. The scheme provides income support to farmers across the nation with cultivable land, subject to certain exclusions. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 6000 per year is given in three installments of Rs 2000 each to the farmers. The scheme has been very helpful to farmers in this Coronavirus pandemic. Government had released the sixth installment in August 2020.
