Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana popularly known as PM-Kisan is an initiative of the Government of India for farmers across the country. Under the PM-Kisan scheme, farmers are given Rs.6000 per year in three installments of rupees two thousand each.
Objective of PM Kisan Yojana
The purpose of PM-Kisan yojana is to provide financial assistance to small & marginal farmers for various agricultural purpose.
Modi Government had released the seventh installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 25 December 2020. Farmers who were waiting for the money must check the beneficiary list as well as status at the official website.
Method to check PM Kisan status and Beneficiaries list
To check the status or Beneficiaries list under PM Kisan yojana, farmers will have to follow the steps given below:
Step 1 - Go to the official website - www.pmkisan.gov.in/
Step 2 - Look for farmers corner on the menu bar
Step 3 - Now click on 'beneficiary status' to check your PM-Kisan status
Step 4 - To check 'beneficiary list' - enter your State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village properly or you will not get correct data.
Step 5 - Then click 'Get Report'
Step 6 - Your details will appear on the screen

How farmers will get PM-Kisan funds?
The money or fund will directly reach the farmers account and information regarding the disbursal of money will be sent through SMS on their registered mobile number. Hence farmers must make sure they have submitted correct mobile number.
Recently, government has launched a special campaign for the Saturation of all PM-Kisan beneficiaries with Kisan Credit Cards.
How to apply for PM-Kisan Yojana?
To apply for PM-Kisan yojana farmers will have to register themselves at the official website of government of India i.e. pmkisan.gov.in. In addition to this, they can also approach the Nodal Officer of PM-Kisan scheme appointed by the state government or can go to their nearest Common Services Centres (CSC) & apply online for the minimum support scheme.
