Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Modi government transfers Rs 6000 annually in the account of farmers in three installments of Rs. 2000. So far, Government has transferred nine installments under PM Kisan Yojana. The last installment was released on 9th August 2021 to more than 9 crore farmers.
As per latest information, over 9 crore farmers in India are currently taking advantage of this government scheme. If you have not yet registered your name under PM Kisan scheme then you can do it online in few seconds by just visiting the official website of PM Kisan. The detailed process is explained below;
PM Kisan Online Registration Process
You must have few documents before registering. Apart from land papers, you must have Aadhaar card, updated bank account, address proof, passport size photo etc. If you have all these documents then you can easily register your name in this scheme sitting at home.
Step 1: Go to the official website of PM Kisan scheme - https://pmkisan.gov.in/. At ‘Farmers corner’ you will find ‘New registration option’, just click on it. Now a new page will open.
Step 2: Write your Aadhaar number on the new page, after which the registration form will open.
Step 3: Fill all details asked, for example, from which state or district you are. Apart from this, the farmers will have to provide their name, gender, category, Aadhaar card information, bank account number to which the money will be transferred, its IFSC code, address, mobile number, date of birth etc.
You will also have to give details about your land. Survey or account number, Khasra number etc. After filling all these information, the form has to be submitted for registration.

How to Check PM Kisan status, account details
If you want to check your status and payment details then follow the steps given below;

First, go to the official website of PM Kisan - https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Here you will find the option of 'Farmers Corner' on the right side.

Click on 'Beneficiary Status' option here. A new page will open here.

On the new page, select one of the options from Aadhaar number, bank account number or mobile number.

After this, click on Get Data.

You will get information about all transactions/payments.

You will also find information related to the sixth installment here.

If you see 'FTO is generated and payment confirmation is pending' then it means that the process of fund transfer has started. This installment will be transferred to your account in a few days.
How to update Aadhaar, name and account number

Go to the official website https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Go to Farmers Corner and click on the Edit Aadhaar Details option.

You enter your Aadhaar number here. After this enter a captcha code and submit.

If your name is wrong only then you can fix it online.
