Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana Extended Till FY'26 With Rs.4600 crore Outlay
PMKSY is a comprehensive package which will lead to creation of modern infrastructure with efficient supply chain management from farm gate to retail outlet.
The food processing ministry said on Monday that its flagship scheme, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY), has been extended till March 2026, with an allocation of Rs.4600 crore. The ministry said in a tweet that PMKSY has been extended from 2021-22 to 2025-26.
The scheme has been allocated Rs.4600 crore by the Central Government, according to a tweet from the Ministry.
PMKSY is a comprehensive package that will result in the development of modern infrastructure and effective supply chain management from the farm gate to the retail outlet.
The scheme would not only help the food processing sector thrive, but it will also assist farmers get better pricing and creating huge employment opportunities.
With a budget of Rs.6000 crore, the Centre launched SAMPADA (Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters) in May 2017.
In August 2017, the scheme was renamed as PMKSY.

PMKSY is an umbrella scheme that includes ongoing ministry schemes such as Integrated Cold Chain and Value Addition Infrastructure, Food Safety and Quality Assurance Infrastructure, Infrastructure for Agro-processing Clusters, Creation / Expansion of Food Processing and Preservation Capacities, and Operation Greens.
PM Kisan SAMPADA Yojana is a complete package that would result in the development of modern infrastructure and effective supply chain management from the farm gate to the retail outlet.
