UP Govt Launches Scheme for Farmers under “Mission Kisan Kalyan”

Under the initiative ‘Mission Kisan Kalyan’, the state government aims to increase income of the farmers by encouraging and persuading farmers to time their cultivation of crops with the demand in the market.

In the wake of enabling women and young people through Mission Shakti and Mission Rozgar, Yogi government is all set to dispatch 'Mission Kisan Kalyan' for exceedingly improving farmer lives.

'Mission Kisan Kalyan' initiative will be launched on January 6th, 2021 pointed toward building alertness among the farmer groups about how to lessen the expense of farming by utilizing fertilizer in a fair manner. A total of 350 blocks will be covered under this particular campaign located in the rural regions of the state in a time period of around 3 weeks.

Under Mission Shakti, the state government tried to engage ladies and girls of the state by bolstering their cooperation in the public eye and adding one more layer of security for them. Similarly, under 'Mission Rozgaar', young people get work opportunities. This has now been stretched out to the farmers.

Mission Kisan Kalyan:

The state government through its ' Mission Kisan Kalyan' initiative plans to expand the pay of the farmers by urging and convincing farmers to time their farming of crops with the market demand.

The mission expects to make horticulture productive and the best way is by horticultural diversification. For achieving this, all the divisions identified with agribusiness have been included in the campaign.The campaign will zero in on keeping an immediate contact and communication with the farmers.

An official commented, " Specialists from Krishi Vigyan Kendras will pass on their knowledge and expertise through seminars and interactive meetings.The meetings will be all about high-level methods of cultivation and how to enhance their pay,"

Along with providing present-day information and data about saving the current Rabi crops, the departmental officials will be giving solutions on how to keep the following crops from any harm. The farmers will likewise be shared Kisan Credit Cards at the program.
