Regenerative Agriculture

Regenerative Agriculture is the system of agriculture principles that helps to enhance ecosystem services, enriches soils, improve watersheds, and increase biodiversity. It evolves continuously with time. 

Here is a list of organizations that are working to promote Regenerative Agriculture and improve the ecosystem and overall soil health;

Aryana Agricultural Alternatives 

Aryana is committed to follow the philosophy of natural agricultural practices with focus on forest farming so as to take up production without causing destruction to the planet earth, enabling all lifeforms to co-exist. Aryana Agricultural Alternatives organizes and strengthens rural farming communities in India to achieve food and nutrition security through permaculture and regenerative agriculture.  

Kiss the Ground 

Kiss the Ground is a California-based non-profit working to regenerate land and reverse climate change through healthy soil. This organization’s motto is “Awakening people to the possibilities of Regeneration.” Their commitment is to balance our climate by building healthy soil. Kiss the Ground also works with farmers, educators, NGOs, scientists, students and policymakers to advocate for regenerative agriculture.  

RegenAG 

RegenAG is a community based family enterprise committed to helping regenerate Australia’s farms, soils, communities, and on-farm livelihoods. RegenAG provide farmers, professional organizations and communities with education, training and consultancy opportunities to learn from the world’s most innovative and effective regenerative agriculture practitioners in a wide range of fields. 

Regeneration International 

Regeneration International, a project of the Organic Consumers Assosiation, is dedicated to building a global network of farmers, scientists, businesses, activists, educators, journalists, governments, and consumers who will promote and put into practice regenerative agriculture and land-use practices that- provide abundant, nutritious food, revive local economies, rebuild soil fertility and biodiversity, and restore climate stability by returning carbon to the soil, through the natural process of photosynthesis. And every year, Regeneration International brings a delegation to the U.N. Climate Summit to raise awareness about the links between soil and climate.  

Savory Hub Network 

The Savory Global Network is a distributed nodal network of regional learning hubs, each independently owned and independently operated that equip farmers, ranchers, and pastoralist communities with the tools and knowledge to regenerate grasslands in a localized context.
