Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Purushottam Rupala has launched a pilot project on telemedicine services run by AIIMS Raipur through National Cooperative Development Corporation for members of fisheries cooperatives under the Centre's flagship program Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. Under which the members of fish cooperative societies in Chhattisgarh will now be able to consult doctors of AIIMS, Raipur for their medical needs.
Unique ID to be Created for Farmers
According to Vivek Agarwal, Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, a 12-digit unique ID is being created by the government for each farmer, for which the government is creating a database by collecting data from various schemes such as PM-Kisan. The farmers can use this ID to avail all agriculture-related services under various schemes.
Government to Encourage Sharbati Wheat
In a Conference, the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister has given directions to the officers regarding the promotion of Sharbati Wheat. The Chief Minister told the officers that, on the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh on 1st November, all the districts should start working under the One District One Product scheme, and the government should have a special focus on the famous crops or products of the districts.
Branding of nutritious food will also be done & the districts which are famous for the Sharbati wheat should also be encouraged.
UP's largest Guava Hub to be Built in Kaushambi
The Yogi government has decided to make the biggest center of guava in Kaushambi. The land for the center has also been identified. The state-of-the-art Guava Development Center will be built at a cost of Rs 10 crore. According to the Uttar Pradesh Horticulture Department, this center will be completely ready in the year 2023.

After the success of the first phase, now the initiative to provide the agricultural plants through PACS has started in the second phase as well. In the second phase of Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Plant Yojana, 19 packs of Bhagalpur district have been selected.
