Alert! Deadly Coronavirus Reaches India; Causes, Symptoms, Precautions, Diagnosis Explained
While ‘Coronavirus’ is mounting nightmares across the world, taking the lives of at least 80 people in China, it has turned out as the scariest dream for neighboring country India as well. As per reports, over 100 people have been kept under observation in Kerala and Maharashtra following screening for possible exposure to novel coronavirus (nCoV) as the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Saturday reviewed India's preparedness to deal with any situation. Moreover, scientists are yet to discover the source, origin of this virus along with its vaccine which has increased the severity of the situation. However, farmers are the easiest target for Coronavirus as they constantly come in contact with wild animals, snacks, bat, birds, etc. which is suspected to spread the deadly virus in China.

What is coronavirus?
The coronavirus which was first identified in 1960 is a family of viruses that can cause a range of illnesses in humans including the common cold and more severe forms like SARS and MERS which are life-threatening. The virus is named after its shape which takes the form of a crown with protrusions around it and hence is known as coronavirus.
Why Farmers are the Easiest Target?
Farmers are the easiest target for Coronavirus as they constantly come in contact with wild animals, snacks, bat, birds, etc. which is suspected to spread the deadly virus in China.
How did it occur in China?
As per the report, the recent outbreak of coronavirus is believed to have occurred in a market for illegal wildlife in the central Chinese city of Wuhan. Chinese health authorities and the WHO are investigating the outbreak of the recent coronavirus which raises the death toll up to 80 in China. The Chinese government has clamped down on the central Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the deadly coronavirus that has claimed 80 lives so far and infected thousands. The reach of the virus has been reported from as far as the United States. The outbreak happened last month.
What Recent Study Suggests about Coronavirus Origin?
The team of scientists looked for similarities in the virus' genetic code and then compared that to the genetic codes of a handful of species known to be sold at the Wuhan market. Snakes, marmots, hedgehogs, bats, birds have been showed the most similarity. So farmers need to be more careful and maintain more hygiene as they are constantly dealt with those wild animals on their farm. The World Health Organization identified a new type: 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in China. By late January, there were 300 confirmed cases in China and a death count that was still in the single digits but rising. And despite airport screenings, a traveler had brought the first case to the U.S.
