Khajoor or Dates
The date palm is the fruit of the date palm, which grows in many tropical regions of the world. Dates are also very healthy. Ripe dates and dried dates are great sources of vitamin C and iron. Vitamin C reduces respiratory problems, while iron supports the immune system to function efficiently. Iron is needed to make hemoglobin, a red blood cell protein that carries oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body. Eating 2 to 3 khajoor a day is enough to stay healthy. Moreover it may be used instead of sugar.
Amla:
The juice of amla is versatile & delicious. It is also nutritious with many health benefits. The small green fruit is one of the richest sources of vitamin, a powerful antioxidant, which strengthens the natural defenses of organism. Studies show amla contains 20 times more vitamin c than oranges.
Jaggery or Gur:
Often called gur in Hindi, jaggery is a healthier substitute for sugar. It also activates the digestive enzymes in our body, stimulates bowel movements and hence helps prevent & relieve constipation. Jaggery is a natural body cleanser and helps in reducing the workload of our liver. Symptoms of cold or cough can be cured with the help of jaggery. All you need to do is mix gur with warm water and drink to relax your body. It produces heat in the body and that is why generally people consume it in winters.

Turmeric is a bright orange-yellow spice commonly used in curries and sauces. It comes from the turmeric root. For thousands of years, this spice has been used for its medicinal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.
