Hair Growth

Beautiful hair is the dream of every human being including those from the rural or farming community.  Hair weight that touches the ground when untied is still considered a measure of beauty.  But it is a common sight today for young women to cut their hair to neck and for young men to grow their hair long.

It is safe to say that there are no publications that do not advertise hair products.  Similarly, there are many products available in the market today that ensure hair growth.  Such tonics are made in Ayurveda and Allopathy.  There are many types of shampoos available today.

However, I would like to mention some facts that no one pays much attention to.  It's about our daily diet. The food we eat is one of the many factors that affect hair growth.  Here's what it's going to be.

What are the foods that help in hair growth?

First, let's talk about the legumes that we include in our diet.  It is very beneficial to include it in the daily diet. There is no doubt that chickpeas which are rich in folic acid and iron can help in the growth of hair.  It can accelerate blood flow to the brain and scalp.

In Kerala, it is not common that nuts to be included in the diet.  Among other benefits, nuts can help with hair growth.  The protein, zinc, omega three and fatty acids they contain are essential for hair growth, strength and beauty.

Those who want beautiful hair should include fish in their diet.  Fish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D.  These are very essential for hair growth.

Fruits are just as important a food as fish.  They contain Vitamin C and Vitamin B which are beneficial for all types of hair.  Of particular note at this time are the berries.  All of these nutrients stimulate hair growth.

Sweet potato is said to be good for hair growth.  The presence of beta-carotene gives sweet potato pre-eminence in hair growth.  It is said that sweet potato is good for preventing hair loss.  But remember that nectar in excess is also poisonous.
