Both Olive and Coconut oils are extracted from plant-based fats. They both are edible oils and are used in activities like cooking, baking and are also used in cosmetics. One teaspoon of coconut oil contains 120 calories. One teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil also contains 120 calories. On comparing the number of saturated fats in them, coconut oil has 13 g of it. On the other hand, olive oil has only about 2 g of if, which is way less and healthier than coconut oil. The amount of fats they provide us with is also the same

Coconut oil mostly leaves us with saturated fats in the form of molecules called MCT's (medium-chain triglycerides). High amounts of saturated fats are not good for the body and cause heart-related problems. Hence, it is advised to consume it in a moderate amount.

Extra Virgin olive provides us with a good amount of anti-oxidants. Coconut oil also provides us with antioxidants, however, the amount they provide us with us is very low is also not as effective.
