Sonalika Tractors Sells Over 1 lakh Units in 9 Months

The Tiger DI 75 4WD has a 4,712cc CRDs engine that produces 75hp and 290Nm of torque, while the Tiger DI 65 4WD has the same engine but produces 65hp and 258Nm of torque.

Sonalika Tractors, one of India's leading tractor manufacturers, set a sales record by selling 1,05,250 tractors in the first nine months of FY22. This is in addition to Sonalika's export record of over 25,000 tractor exports in the same period, a segment in which it holds a 31.2 percent market share, more than twice that of the next manufacturer.

Highlights:

  • Between April 2021 and December 2021, Sonalika sold 1,05,250 tractors.

  • Sonalika Tractors sales crossed the 1 lakh mark in just nine months.

  • Sonalika's exports crossed 25,000 units during the same period.

Sonalika recently launched the Tiger DI 75 4WD and Tiger DI 65 4WD tractors in response to the global pandemic and in order to deliver the best in affordable and robust farm machinery.

The two Tigers are powered by advanced Common Rail Diesel System (CRDs) engines that deliver superior power while maintaining efficiency comparable to tractors with smaller engine capacities.

The Tiger DI 75 4WD has a 4,712cc CRDs engine that produces 75hp and 290Nm of torque, while the Tiger DI 65 4WD has the same engine but produces 65hp and 258Nm of torque.

A 12F+12R shuttle tech multi-speed transmission manages to gear, resulting in a best-in-class top speed of 40kmph for the Tiger DI 75 4WD. The eco mode improves fuel efficiency by 10% and can be switched on and off, via a single button.

These tractors were designed in Europe and feature a slew of modern features such as LED daytime running lights and LED brake lights, a 4-way adjustable seat, a fully digital instrument panel, an engine immobilizer, a 5G hydraulic valve rated at 2,200kgs, and a smartphone app with geo-fencing, geo-location, and real-time assistance. The Tiger DI 75 4WD is priced between Rs 11 and Rs 11.2 lakhs.
