ICAR-Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad is inviting candidates for walk-in-interview for temporary positions of three Young Professionals-II and two Young Professionals-I, initially for a period of one year. Here are the details:

Qualifications  and Experience

Young Professional-II (Social Science)

  • M.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics, Entomology, or any other relevant discipline in Agricultural Sciences. 

  • Alternatively, candidates with a post-graduation in Social Sciences and NET qualification are also eligible. 

  • Desirable experience includes working in oilseeds, engaging with farming communities, proficiency in computer operations, familiarity with conventional and functional tools, and effective communication skills in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada, in addition to English. 

Young Professional-II (Administration)

  • Graduates with a minimum of 60% marks in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Graphics, along with one year of relevant experience, are eligible. 

  • Alternatively, candidates holding a Master's degree in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems, or Software Engineering can apply. 

  • Desirable experience includes proficiency in office automation packages, database handling (preferably SQL), Oracle and Java platforms, communication skills for coordination, and knowledge/experience in MIS/FMS systems, PFMS, E-office, CPP Portal, and GEM (e-marketing).

Young Professional-II (Stores)

  • Graduates with 60% marks in Computer-related fields and one year of experience, or Master's in the same, are eligible. 

  • Responsibilities include assisting in system management, providing user support, conducting training, and other assigned tasks. 

  • Desired skills include proficiency in office automation, database handling, Oracle and Java platforms, and communication skills. Knowledge of MIS/FMS systems, PFMS, E-office, CPP Portal, and GEM (e-marketing) is desirable.

Young Professional I (Stores)

  • Graduates with a minimum of 60% marks in Computer-related fields and one year of relevant experience are required. 

  • Desirable experience includes proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, along with familiarity with PFMS, E-office, and GeM Portal. Good communication skills are essential for coordinating with staff and support teams for issue resolution related to FMS/MIS, PFMS, E-office, and GeM Portal.

Young Professional I (AKMU)

  • Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks in Computer Application, Information Technology, or Computer Science. 

  • Desirable experience includes the ability to identify and resolve LAN/Internet issues in coordination with ISPs, organize web-based meetings, manage web servers and firewalls, familiarity with open-source software/applications, update CMS-based websites, and handle E-governance applications.

Monthly Remuneration

  • Young Professional-II: Rs.42000 (fixed)

  • Young Professional-I: Rs.30000 (fixed)

Selection will be based on the performance in the Interview.
