13th BIOFACH INDIA, India’s Largest Trade Fair on Organic Industry Starts on October 28

India has a significant development in the sale of Organic products in India and we are also the second-largest exporter of organic products in Asia after China. The major Indian organic products in demand are oilseeds, sugarcane, cereals & millets, cotton, pulses, medicinal plants, tea, fruits, spices.

With India’s Organic market projected to grow from USD177.14 million in FY2020 to USD553.87 million in FY2026 advancing with a CAGR of 21.00% by FY2026, there has been a considerable push to promote Organic farming by the Indian Government. The increasing non-communicable diseases, unhealthy lifestyles, mimicking western culture in eating habits everything has contributed to the increasing health consciousness of Indians has resulted in an improvement in the sales of organic food.

The 13th Edition of India's largest international trade fair on Organic Industry will take place from 28-30, October 2021 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi, NCR. Biofach is organized by NürnbergMesse India in collaboration with APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority).

Biofach is an exclusive event that focuses on bringing together Organic companies and Stakeholders together. There will be different products on display and an engaging farmers’ conference on all three days organized by the OFAI and AIONA. Traders and visitors can look forward to diverse organic products on display and also networking opportunities.

Every year Biofach looks forward to high-level business networking buyers from Europe, the Middle East, the UK, and the USA. This year also we keep all our hopes held high even though we are just emerging stronger as a country after the Covid pandemic.

Our Organic Market Industry is spread over spices, foods, and beverages like tea and coffee and also beauty and wellness products and textiles too. The domestic market is estimated to be 3500 crores and the export is about 8500 crores.

The Indian market share, when compared to International trade, is definitely small, but the sector has a huge potential for growth.
