15 Crore Ration Card Users to Get Double Ration from December 12

From December 12, the Uttar Pradesh government will launch a massive ration distribution campaign, in which more than 15 crore ration card users would receive double-free rations in the form of booster doses.

From December 12, the Uttar Pradesh government will launch a massive ration distribution campaign, in which more than 15 crore ration card users would receive double-free rations in the form of booster doses. 

Country’s Largest Ration Distribution  

According to authorized sources, this is the country's largest ration distribution effort to date, and it will directly assist Antyodaya and eligible domestic ration cardholders. Along with the police, MPs and MLAs will keep an eye on this program, which is already helping the poor, laborers, and farmers. 

The preparations have been completed for the grand campaign of the ration distribution, which is about to start on December 12. Under this scheme, a double ration is to be distributed to the Antyodaya ration cardholders & the eligible families. There are about 1,30,07,969 units under the Antyodya Anna Yojana & 13,41,77,983 units of the eligible domestic cardholders in the state.  

CM Yogi Declares Free ration Till Holi  

It's worth noting that the Prime Minister's Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, which began during the epidemic and ended in November, was about to end, therefore on behalf of the state government, CM Yogi declared free ration distribution until Holi on November 3 in Ayodhya. Since then, qualifying UP cardholders has received a free monthly supply of 10 kg.

The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has also been extended by the Center until March 2022. Apart from this, the Uttar Pradesh government is providing free wheat & rice twice a month to ration cardholders.

Pulses, edible oil & salt are also being given free of cost from the ration shops. Let us inform you that the state government has helped the poor & destitute people even during the Corona period. He has done a great job of taking ration distribution campaign to every poor through the 80,000 kotedars
