3rd PMFAI SML Annual Agchem Awards: Deepak Shah Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

3^rd PMFAI SML Annual Agchem Awards: Deepak Shah, Chairman of Sulphur Mills Ltd also known as the Sulphur Man of India received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 3^rd PMFAI SML Annual Agchem Awards 2022. Shah is a big corporate leader who has devoted 50+ years of hard service to agriculture Industry and has been a savior of the farmers.

Pesticides Manufacturers & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI) is organizing a 2 day “International Crop Science Conference & Exhibition” (ICSCE – 2022)- An exclusive Agri Inputs Trade Summit (which includes, Fungicides, Herbicides, Insecticides, pesticide and intermediate (solvents, Surfactants, intermediates, etc.), fertilizer, agrochemical packaging, seeds) on 14 & 15 February 2022 in Le Meridien Hotels & Conference Centre, Airport Road, Dubai-UAE. 

Along with ICSCE 2022, the 3^rd PMFAI SML Annual Agchem Awards were also held on 14^th February 2022, 6 pm onwards. These awards were given to honor the outstanding achievements in Indian agrochemical industry & remarkable contributions, which helps in sustainable growth of agriculture.

Upon receiving the award, Shah thanked the jury members for considering him for this award, however, he attributed his achievement to the whole SML Family, vendors, suppliers who helped him in the entire journey. The 70+year-old industrialist is highly regarded in the Agrochemical Industry.

He further highlighted the burning issues that can help Indian Agriculture to prosper and these were Increased R&D, Focus on Right Plant Nutrition and Enhancing Farmers’ Income.

Many renowned personalities from the industry like Pradeep Dave, President, PMFAI, Rajesh Agarwal, MD, Insecticides India Limited & MC Dominic, Founder & editor in chief of Krishi Jagran & Agriculture world congratulated Shah on his achievement.
