Aadhar Card Update

Aadhar Card has now become an important document for availing various services offers by the government, banks & other state-backed agencies. The 12-digit number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has indeed become crucial in our day-to-day lives. The official photograph on the UIDAI Identification card can now be changed with a recent photograph that more closely resembles their current appearance.

There are many Indian citizens who had applied for the Aadhar card years ago when the Indian government had rolled out the service. And as a result, in many cases, the official photograph on the Aadhar card is not even recognizable by the Aadhar cardholders, which can also be a reason for the people seeking to change it.

UIDAI is allowing the Aadhar card holders to change their official photograph in simple & easy steps. You can also use UIDAI’s service to update your phone number, address & other details online or offline. However, changing the photograph on the Aadhar card will require the cardholders to submit their request online, followed by a visit to a nearby Centre, where your new photograph will be captured by the designated official.
