Actor Kiccha Sudeep Appointed Brand Ambassador for Karnataka's Cattle Adoption Scheme
The Karnataka government has appointed Kannada star Sudeep as the brand ambassador for its ‘Punyakoti Dattu Yojana’, cattle adoption scheme.
The Karnataka government has appointed Kannada actor Sudeep as the brand ambassador for its cattle adoption scheme known as ‘Punyakoti Dattu Yojana’. The announcement was made by Prabhu B Chavan, Animal Husbandry Minister through a tweet on Friday.
"Kiccha Sudeep, Kannada Actor and Director has been appointed as the Animal Husbandry department's ambassador to promote and publicise the Punyakoti cattle adoption scheme, which is implemented to encourage people's participation in cow conservation. I wish him my heartfelt congratulations." Tweets from Chavan.
He also said the actor has committed not to charge for serving as the program's ambassador, which is intended to encourage public adoption to rear cattle in "goshalas,” (cow shelters).
Sudeep is also known for his prominent roles in movies including "Pailwan," "Eega (Makkhi)," "Vikrant Rona," "Sparsha," "Huchcha," and "No. 73 Shanthi Nivasa."
