The Air Quality Index (AQI) measures how polluted the air is and what associated health effects might be a concern for people. The higher the AQI value, the greater the level of air pollution and the greater the health concern.

The National Capital Region (NCR) continues to grapple with poor air quality. Cities like Gurugram and Noida are experiencing moderate to poor air conditions. While Gurugram’s AQI stands at 87, Noida’s air quality has dipped to a concerning 126, classified as poor.

Health experts advise residents, especially children and those with respiratory ailments, to limit outdoor activities in Noida due to the poor air quality. Even in Gurugram, people with respiratory issues should exercise caution.

The Commission for Air Quality Management has called for a review meeting to address the deteriorating air conditions.

Residents are advised to be mindful of the air quality and rising humidity while planning their daily activities.

It is important to stay informed about the AQI levels in your area and take necessary precautions to protect your health. "Poor AQI" causes various health issues like sinus and other respiratory problems. Delhi NCR has constantly been under scrutiny due to its depleting AQI.
