Essential Qualifications

• 1+ years of software development experience

• Experience with at least one software programming language is required.

• Experience with at least one current programming language, such as Java, C++, or C#, as well as object-oriented design,

• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling).

• 2+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of technical education and job experience is required.

• 4+ years of experience in software development

Desired Qualifications

• MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject Experience in designing and scaling large distributed systems.

• AWS and other cloud technologies knowledge.

• Understanding SQL and relational data modeling.

• Software development experience in a Unix/Linux environment.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Unix Shell and Python

• A proven ability to solve complicated commercial and technology issues.

• Exceptional knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases

• Experience with JSP, Spring, AWS, S3, SQS, and developing web services and highly scalable systems.

• Perl or other scripting languages knowledge is useful.

• 3+ years as a business analyst, data engineer, business intelligence engineer, or equivalent.

• Experience developing and implementing a business intelligence roadmap.

• Experience with Oracle, Redshift, Teradata, and other data warehousing systems.
