Amul Dedicates Doodle to Celebrate Bhavinaben Patel’s Historic Win at Tokyo Paralympics

The Tokyo Paralympics has witnessed some proud moments for India, as our athletes have drawn attention with their outstanding achievements. Among all the successes, paddler Bhavinaben Patel's triumph at the prestigious Tokyo Paralympics has gained a lot of attention, as she managed to earn India's first table tennis medal. Yes! Paddler Bhavinaben Patel has won a silver medal in table tennis in the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics.

The Tokyo Paralympics has witnessed some proud moments for India, as our athletes have drawn attention with their outstanding achievements. Among all the successes, paddler Bhavinaben Patel's triumph at the prestigious Tokyo Paralympics has gained a lot of attention, as she managed to earn India's first table tennis medal. Yes! Paddler Bhavinaben Patel has won a silver medal in table tennis in the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics. 

While everyone is praising Bhavinaben Patel, Amul welcomed her victory with a lovely doodle. Amul released a photo of the Amul Girl dressed as Bhavinaben posing with a silver award across the table on the microblogging site Twitter. While the Amul girl was enjoying the butter, one could see a cube of Amul butter, as well as a table tennis racquet and ball. This doodle said, "Bhawinaben! Add gold to silver!” It was captioned, “Paddler wins historic silver in Tokyo Paralympics!”  

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to social media to congratulate Bhavinaben Patel on his victory in the Tokyo Paralympics. “The remarkable Bhavina Patel has scripted history! She brings home a historic Silver medal. Congratulations to her for it. Her life journey is motivating and will also draw more youngsters towards sports. #Paralympics” he tweeted. 

Kiren Rijiju, on the other hand, uploaded a video of Bhavinaben receiving her silver medal and commented, “On #NationalSportsDay India strikes the first medal at the #Tokyo2020 #Paralympics as Bhavina Patel won a silver medal in Table Tennis and made India proud. Congratulations #BhavinaPatel ! #Cheer4India”. 

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, and other authorities also congratulated India's para table tennis player Bhavinaben Hasmukhbhai Patel on his silver medal in the Paralympics in Tokyo on Sunday.
