Andhra Pradesh CM, Union Agriculture Minister Discuss Agricultural and Rural Development

Today on July 4, 2024, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu paid a courtesy visit to Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Krishi Bhavan, Delhi. The meeting also saw the presence of Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications, Dr Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani. The discussion centered around the themes of agricultural and rural development in Andhra Pradesh.

During the meeting, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured full support from the central government for the agricultural and rural development initiatives in Andhra Pradesh. Both Chief Minister Naidu and Minister Chouhan highlighted their commitment to working collaboratively for the welfare and empowerment of farmers and rural communities.

The presence of key officials, including Union Agriculture Secretary Sanjeev Chopra, Union Rural Development Secretary Shailesh Kumar Singh, and senior officials from Andhra Pradesh, highlighted the importance of the discussions.

Chief Minister Naidu expressed his gratitude for the central government's support and reiterated the state's commitment to improving the agricultural sector and the living conditions of rural populations. The meeting underscored the need for joint efforts between the state and central governments to achieve sustainable development and enhance the quality of life for farmers and rural residents in Andhra Pradesh.

The officials’ presence and the discussions held reaffirmed the dedication to the holistic development of the rural and agricultural sectors in the state.
