Andhra Pradesh Govt. to Disburse Rs 508.20 crore to YSR Kapu Nestham Beneficiaries Today

Today, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Reddy will visit Gollaprolu in the Kakinada district to provide the beneficiaries of the YSR Kapu Nestham scheme with the third installment.

With a click of a button, Jagan will deposit the money right into the beneficiaries' accounts. This will raise the standard of living for women in the Kapu community.

He will also be speaking at a public gathering. Later, Jagan will publish the third installment of the YSR Kapu Nestham scheme. At 12.40 pm, he will depart from Gollaprolu and arrive in Tadepalli at 1.30 pm.

"3,38,792 eligible poor women from the castes of Kapu, Balija, Telaga, and Ontari would receive a total of 508.18 crores in financial assistance throughout the state. According to the pledge made in the YSRC election manifesto, YSR Kapu Nestham is being offered for a third year in a row with the intention of raising the economic status and standard of living of the underprivileged sisters of the Kapu, Balija, Telaga, and Ontari castes "CMO stated.

Poor women from the Kapu, Balija, Telaga and Ontari castes who are between the ages of 45 and 60 would receive Rs 15,000 annually through YSR Kapu Nestham, and the Jagan government will provide each beneficiary a total of Rs 75,000 in financial assistance over the course of five years.

The previous government provided an average of Rs 400 crore to the Kapu, Balija, Telaga, and Ontari castes through various forms. However, in just three years, the Jagan government has provided a total of Rs 32,296.37 crore in direct benefits to 70,94,881 members of the Kapu caste through a number of schemes, according to a CMO release.

The Jagan government made special efforts to strengthen the Kapus politically, socially, and economically. As part of this endeavor, four ministerial positions, including one as deputy chief minister, were given to the Kapus. It was said that Kapu communities received due preference in all nominations for posts and local institutions.

For the previous three years, the YSRC government has paid welfare benefits of Rs 32,296.37 crore for DBT and non-DBT recipients numbering 70,94,881 to the Kapu, Balija, Telaga, and Ontari castes.

Through DBT, 57,69,237 beneficiaries will receive benefits of Rs 16,256.44 crore. In three years, there have been 13,25,644 beneficiaries through non-DBT, and they have received a benefit of Rs 16,039.93 crore.
