APPSC 2021: Apply For Agriculture Officer, Sericulture Officer, Fisheries Development Officer & Other Posts

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued a call for applications for 24 different gazetted positions. The recruiting procedure will begin on December 8, and the deadline for submitting application forms is December 28, according to an official statement posted on the Commission's website.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued a call for applications for 24 different gazetted positions. The recruiting procedure will begin on December 8, and the deadline for submitting application forms is December 28, according to an official statement posted on the Commission's website.

APPSC recruitment 2021: Vacancy details 

  • Fisheries Development Officer in A.P. Fisheries Service: 11 posts

  • Sericulture Officer In A.P Sericulture Service: 1 post

  • Agriculture Officer In A.P Agriculture Service: 6 posts

  • Divisional Accounts Officer (works) Grade-II in A.P. Works Accounts Service: 2 posts

  • Technical Assistant in A.P Police Service: 1 post

  • Assistant Commissioner of Endowments in A.P. Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Service: 3 posts

  • Assistant Director of Horticulture in P. Horticulture Service: 1 post 

Candidates having a bachelor's degree and/or a master's degree in the relevant areas are encouraged to apply. 

"Selection for the job shall be made on the basis of a written examination administered by the Commission in the form of a computer-based recruitment test." "The Written Examination Dates will be Announced Separately," the APPSC has told aspirants. 

A generic mock test facility is provided on the Commission's official website to familiarise applicants with the exam process. 

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was established on November 1, 1956, when the state of Andhra Pradesh was constituted. Previously known as the Andhra Service Commission (established in 1953), the commission is based on the norms of the Madras Public Service Commission.

Later, in 1956, the Andhra Public Service Commission and the Hyderabad Public Service Commission merged to establish the APPSC.
