Citrus Research Station, Assam Agricultural University, Tinsukia, is accepting applications for different project-based positions. Those interested must go through the details given below and accordingly apply.

For the DBT-funded project "Phytochemical characterization and nutrient profiling of germplasm diversity of Citrus species existing in the NorthEast region," the Citrus Research Station, Assam Agricultural University, Tinsukia is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow.

Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow

No. of position: 1

Required Qualification : MSc (Agri) / MSc in Horticulture / Biotechnology / Plant Pathology / Molecular Biology / Life Science

Desirable Candidate: Working experience in a laboratory specialized to such disciplines will be given priority.

Salary/Emoluments :

1. Rs. 31000/- + 8% HRA for the first and second years, and Rs. 35000/- + 8% HRA for the third and fourth years. Applicable for candidates who have qualified NET, GATE, BET, BINC, or any other national level examination conducted by the Central Government and its agencies and organisations.

2. Rs. 25000/- + 8% HRA for others who do not fall under above (1).

Selection Process

On the 9th of May 2022, from 10:30 AM onwards, a walk-in interview for the aforesaid position will be held at the Office of the Chief Scientist, Citrus Research Station, Assam Agricultural University, Tinsukia.

At the time of the interview, one copy of a passport-size photograph, as well as original and attested copies of all academic certificates and testimonials, must be submitted.
