One of our prime minister’s new vision to improve the concerns of rural India is the real thought of the day to make a significant impact in overall progress of the country. It seeks to create a sustainable development of rural population. We have to think for solutions to essential services like education, healthcare, nutrition, agriculture, sanitation and most important, livelihood opportunities. Honing the skills of young people from rural populations can help create a strong workforce. If only the government and social sector could work together to empower them and stop their migration to cities ill-equipped to handle the influx, there could bereal achievement in development of healthy and wealthy rural sectore and this will be true empowerment in equipping rural India to help itself.
