Bank Holidays 2023: Banks to Remain Shut for 10 Days in February, Check State-Wise List Here
The holidays will come into effect under three categories, including ‘Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act’, ‘Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday’, and ‘Banks’ Closing of Accounts’.
There will be 10 bank holidays spread throughout several states in the country in February, including the second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays. Additionally, just one Saturday will be working for banks this month due to three consecutive Saturdays being bank holidays. But not all states will observe the same holidays. State governments designate bank holidays in addition to national holidays; a few state-specific holidays have banks closed.
According to the RBI holiday list, banks will be closed in a few selected states on the occasions of Lui-Ngai-Ni, Mahashivratri (Maha Vad-14)/Sivarathri, State Day, and Loser.

Bank customers are advised to plan all of their bank-related tasks around these holidays to prevent delays in their work.
