Bank Holidays in March 2023: To avoid any inconvenience, individuals with upcoming bank-related tasks next month should review the holiday calendar and plan their visit accordingly.
The entire list of bank holidays for the month of March has been publicly disclosed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Apart from the second and fourth Saturdays, there are only a few public holidays in this month, including Panchayati Raj Diwas, Holi, Bhagat Singh Martyrs Day, Sarhul Ramnavmi, etc. However, on certain days, not all public and private banks will be closed.

8 March 2023: Holi/ Dhuleti/ Yaosang (Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla)
11 March 2023 (Saturday): All banks in India will remain closed on the second Saturday of the month.
12 March 2023 (Sunday): All banks in India will remain closed due to the weekend.
19 March 2023 (Sunday): All banks in India will remain closed due to the weekend.
22 March 2023: Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Bihar Divas/Sajibu Nongmapanba (Cheiraoba)/Telugu New Year's Day/1st Navratra (Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Telangana, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Srinagar)
23 March 2023: Sri. Bhagat Singh Martyrdom’s/ Martyrs Day (Haryana, Ladakh)
24 March 2023: Sarhul (Jharkhand)
25 March 2023 (Saturday): All banks in India will remain closed on the fourth Saturday of the month.
26 March 2023 (Sunday): All banks in India will remain closed due to the weekend.
30 March 2023: Shri Ram Navami (Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Gangtok, Dehradun, Telangana, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla)
