Although Class 12 results may not be released until the third week of July, Class 10 results are anticipated to be released during the first week of July.

This year's class 10 and 12 exams were administered in a new manner by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This time, board exams were administered in the two terms for each class rather than on an annual basis. Students had to respond to objective questions in Term 1; however, the tests in Term 2 were subjective. Students are currently awaiting their final test results as they were completed for both terms.

Results from Terms 1 and 2 as well as an internal evaluation will be used to determine the ultimate outcome. But how much will each exam count toward the final mark? This topic is still being discussed. A large number of learners, educators, and academics are calling for the final grades to be determined by the best performance in either the Term 1 or Term 2 tests. They contend that having to take two board exams after a year of online study was unfair, and they want that their request be granted so they can relax.

Internal Assessments Will Have More Importance?

Additionally, students have advocated for giving internal assessments more importance. They request that internal assessments be given a total weight of 50%, with the remaining 50% being split equally between Terms 1 and 2.

On the CBSE's end, the evaluation process is still in progress, and they will soon compile and reveal the results. Many students are unsure about the evaluation criteria and how the final score is determined because the new structure was only introduced this session.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th Results 2022: Evaluation Criteria

Although the board has not made any public announcements on the calculation of the final score, it had previously said that each term will be given equal weight. The board also decided not to give anyone a failing grade on their Term 1 exam. The scores will still be given to students who missed either of the terms due to COVID-19 or any other valid reason. Students looking for results based on the best of either term, however, have found promise in this.

Although Class 12 results may not be released until the third week of July, Class 10 results are anticipated to be released during the first week of July. However, because state-based universities in India are beginning their evaluation process, it is likely that the CBSE will begin the declaration of Class 12 results first to ensure that the college admissions process can begin and that no one is put at a disadvantage. The result dates will be announced on Krishijagran.com so stay tuned.
