CBSE Invites Applications for Central Sector Scheme Scholarship 2022; Link to Apply Inside

CSSS 2022: College and university students can now apply for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The national scholarship portal (NSP), accessible at scholarships.gov.in, is where applicants may submit their online applications for CSSS 2022. The candidates can renew their scholarships via the portal; the first renewal is possible for 2021, the second for 2020, the third for 2019, and the fourth for 2018.

The last date for submitting an online application for a new scholarship or a renewal is October 31 according to the CBSE statement.

It said, "All the applicants are advised to submit their online applications within the allotted period and have their online applications checked by the institutions, else the application would be treated as invalid."

Students applying for CSSS must have the following documents available: bank account information, an Aadhaar card number, proof of parental income, a valid mobile phone number, an email address, a caste certificate (if necessary), and evidence of a disability (if required).

CSS Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria

• Students must have at least an 80 percent result in the required stream.

• The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 8 lakhs.

• The plan does not offer benefits to diploma students.
