Objectives of the Project

The aim of this project is to make everyone do what they can like the Little Squirrel. The only way to ensure a non-toxic diet is to cultivate as much space as possible for each individual. This goal is the basis of the project.

The campaign also aims at the cultivation of vegetables, terrace farming, backyard nutrient gardening, and rainfed farming in one-cent area which focuses on families.

From the first phase of the project, monitoring will be done by a special executive committee comprising farmers from the ward level to the district level. Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the project last day.

The Chief Minister said that the goal of cultivating well even in the most limited area would lead to the realization of the great goal of food self-sufficiency.

The Department of Agriculture has decided to implement a large-scale family-centered campaign on the campaign “Njagalum Krishiyilekku”.

The objectives of the campaign are not only self-sufficiency in vegetable cultivation or production but also providing safe food to people.
